This plant will not bloom without adequate light and prefers bright, indirect light for a good portion of the day.

The Lipstick Plant needs careful attention when watering - not too little or too much. Overwatering will cause root rot or fungal problems. Do not let this plant sit in water, only watering it when the soil is dry and even less in Winter.

care tips

As it grows in the rainforest, it prefers high humidity levels so mist the leaves regularly and keep it warm. This plant is perfect to have in a bathroom with windows.

Make sure to clean all leaves with a dry cloth once in a while – dust can affect its absorption of light. During growing season you can feed your plant 2-3 times a month with a balanced fertiliser.

This plant is native from Malaysia.

Having as little impact as possible is extremely important for us.
