LOVING YOUR PLANT
This plant likes a shaded spot in a bright room but with no direct sunlight as this will burn – they don’t love the heat!
This plant needs careful attention when watering - not too little or too much. Overwatering will cause root rot. Only water your plant when the soil is dry and even less in Winter.
If your String of Dolphins looks dull, deflated and dry it is likely underwatered; If squishy with a change of colour then most likely overwatered.
We find average home humidity to be just fine. In Summer months if it gets too hot or the air is dry, you can mist your plant with filtered, room temperature water. During Winter, central heating can reduce humidity. A way of keeping the humidity high is to group several plants together or by sitting them on a tray of pebbles and water, along with misting a few times a week.
You can feed your plant once or twice a year during growing season with a balanced fertiliser.
Toxic for dogs and cats.
