PHILODENDRON FLORIDA GREEN
This Philodendron is intriguing. It has large, interesting shape with some narrow edges.
LOVING YOUR PLANT
This Philodendron prefers moderate to bright light, avoiding direct sunlight. It hates frost and any cold temperature below 12 degrees.
Only water your plant when it dries out. Overwatering will kill this plant so err on the side of caution. Pro tip: Your leaves will tell you if you have overwatered, as they will start turning yellow.
This plant will tolerate average home humidity but with higher humidity conditions you can expect lush growth and shiny foliage. A way of keeping the humidity high is to group several plants together or by sitting them on a tray of pebbles and water. Misting it a few times a week with filtered, room temperature water will also help.
Make sure to clean all leaves with a dry cloth – dust can affect its absorption of light.
Toxic for pets and children if eaten.
Central and South America.
