LOVING YOUR PLANT
Peperomias like a shaded spot in a bright room but with no direct sunlight. They’re found naturally under the canopy of tropical forests, which you can try to replicate by grouping it with other plants.
This plant needs careful attention when watering - not too little or too much. Overwatering will cause root rot and under watering will make them wilt. Only water your plant when the top inch of soil is dry and even less in Winter.
We find average home humidity to be just fine. In Summer months if it gets too hot or the air is dry, you can mist your plant with filtered, room temperature water. During Winter, central heating can reduce humidity. A way of keeping the humidity high is to group several plants together or by sitting them on a tray of pebbles and water, along with misting a few times a week.
Make sure to clean all leaves with a dry cloth – dust can affect its absorption of light.
You can feed your plant once every 2-4 weeks during growing season with a balanced fertiliser.
Not toxic for dogs and cats.
