LOVING YOUR PLANT
It can tolerate all kinds of different light. If in bright, indirect light you can expect it to develop pretty quickly. Be aware that direct sunlight can fade the colour of the leaves.
Only water your plant when it dries out. Overwatering will kill this plant so err on the side of caution. Pro tip: Your leaves will tell you if you have overwatered, as they will start turning yellow.
This Philodendron prefers more humid environments but can tolerate normal humidity. If you can provide more humidity, it will reward you with healthier leaves.
Make sure to clean all leaves with a dry cloth once in a while – dust can affect its absorption of light. During growing season you can feed your plant once a month with a balanced fertiliser. As your plant grows, it is a good idea to prune the ends with some clean scissors, which will encourage new growth. The best part is that you can sit the ends in water to propagate new plant babies.
